They lost my medical records

Difficult to get an appointment and there is an new GP every time. There is complete lack of continuity of care over here. They even lost my medical records.
Pleased with my doctors.

I am very pleased with my current GP but my previous GP was excellent as she used to listen to me and used to give me much more than 10 minutes but unfortunately she has retired.
Contacting them for appointments is an issue

They are good but I have problems in contacting them and it is a big issue because I can't get an appointment when needed.
Impossible to get an appointment

Getting appointments is close to impossible. I have to ring so many times to get one. Most of the time I call 111 to get me an appointment.
They didn't inform me of my results

My scan results were back from the hospital 2 weeks ago and nobody informed me about it. It was only today when I came in to the reception and inquired about the results that they gave me printed copies of the results.
Appointments have improved

Appointment availability has got slightly better in the last few months. With regards to GPs it depends who you get. Some are good and some are okay. It is just luck who you get.
Staff were lovely.

I had a jelly scan on my heart. The member of staff was lovely. They had nice violin music in the background. I was seen really quickly. I had my covid jab here too and was all arranged by the doctor.

Difficult to get an appointment face to face

The midwife is great but getting a GP appointment is not so good. You ring at 8:00am and they make a decision whether you can see someone face to face which I don't agree with. You get through and often there are no appointments. The doctors are good and the nurses are great. Some of the receptionists are not compassionate and some come across rude and blunt. I was moved from another surgery but I wasn't told why.
Lovely staff but hard to get an appointment

It's not as easy as it was before. I don't get immediate reactions. They are short staffed but they just tell you to go to 111 or A&E. They offer a call back service but the call hours afterwards. The staff are really good when you get through to them and the doctors are good. It's just getting the appointment that is the issue. They have an online service but there were issues with it so I never used it again.
