My daughter had shingles so I ended up calling 111 for support on what to do to help her. They advised to go to the GP or even hospital but try the GP first. Helpful advice and the call was answered in a timely manner.

They were able to diagnose that I had appendicitis over the phone and they told me to go straight to hospital for treatment.

Always find them helpful. I used them three times and they have been able to get get me an appointment with another health centre.

They advised I go to hospital as I was having bad pains in my stomach. They answered quickly and they gave advice on what to do if I didn't feel better.

I had a sore throat but my daughter said I didn't look too well and called 111 to get advice. They said they would send paramedics because my symptoms sounded severe.
Send an ambulance for no reason

They send ambulances for no reason. My son had a temperature and they wanted to send an ambulance to go to A&E. The ambulance was not needed. You can get an ambulance quicker calling 111 that calling 999.

I had a fall in the garage and cut my head open. My son called them and they advised me to go straight to A&E as we couldn't stem the bleed. They were very helpful and quick acting.
