Dermatology outpatients are quite good.

October 12, 2023
The outpatients at dermatology are quite good. You are normally in and out. I find the staff okay. I have to come out of dermatology and go to the pharmacy. They could change that.

My sister was 14 years old and had to see a paediatric doctor there for them to talk to her about her medicine. They were good there and explained very well the treatment.

My deaf parents can't book appointments.

Both my parents are deaf and they can't book or re-book appointments on the phone at all. They need our help all of the time. They have to go to the hospital once a month.

Staff were good. Bit confusing where to go.

September 28, 2023
Operation went fairly straight forward. It was day surgery so in and out. It was alright to get to, parking was okay. It's a bit confusing finding the right entrance and where to go but once figured out all was okay. Staff were good.

I visit the dermatology department. I see them every 3 months. Took a long time to be put on the injection but it is working well. The nurse is good and can contact her if I need to ask any questions.

3 year wait for operation

September 26, 2023
I had an operation to remove a basal cell carcinoma. A 3 year wait for an operation the hospital said it would be. They measured it, took photos of it and examined it and sent me home. Before I left they did say that the next time I came there was going to be a surgeon there, but there wasn't. 2 to 3 months later at my next appointment, no surgeon. I turned up, they measured me again, after around 6 months it became really frustrating. I asked to be signed off because of being messed around. My wife, kids and all the people that cared for me told me to go back and get it sorted. But there were too many times I went there and nobody did anything. When they did get around to doing the surgery they did it perfectly. Kept me in overnight. Stay was great.
