Everyone is helpful

Came for blood tests. Everyone is helpful. The staff are always there to help. It's worth coming here. Sometimes it takes a longer time for appointment but it is manageable.

I am happy with the treatment and service received at audiology. The doctors are very experienced and polite. They make time to give you an appointment.

The emergency department waiting time is very long. 7 to 9 hours waiting.
They want to be part of your journey.

My 7 year old son has sickle cell anaemia. Very prompt and nice staff. Very attentive. The nurses take their time and you do not feel rushed. They answer all of your questions. They make you feel like they want to be part of your journey which is nice. We have been waiting around 20 mins for bloods which isn't too bad.
Care was great but hard to see someone
unknown

My 2 year old son has allergy issues. It can be hard initially to get an appointment or see someone. I have felt that a lot of the time we are chasing them and they weren't really giving us much information in the meantime on how deal with the allergies. He was eventually seen and sorted but I had to source all of the information prior to seeing someone. The care was great but hard to get to to see someone.
A long wait in A&E

It's always a long wait whenever we have visited A&E. You have to wait for at least 5 hours.

Excellent. We have been to see the urology department. Good communication about the appointment. The staff have been 10 out of 10.
Seen on time and quickly

All been on time and been seen really quickly on ward 1. Had blood tests and waiting on medication which we have to wait half an hour for.
A second home here
January 9, 2024
It's like a second home. We have multiple consultants that all communicate with each other. We have come for neurology today and I was told that there could be a long wait as there are two appointments before this. The only issue I have is the disability access in the toilet as I have a child with a catheter and they need changing. No toilets have a bed only the ward. Urology have said to go to their department to use their facilities but they should cater for additional needs.
We get seen quickly

We have been coming here for a few years and it's brilliant both the staff and communication is brilliant. They send text messages and day savers for my two sons and me to get to the appointment which is great. The best thing is the waiting time is not very long. We get seen quickly.
