Stay on top of dermatology appointments
August 30, 2023
We've been several times and its been okay. There's usually a wait in the dispensary for the pharmacy, you can wait a long time up to an hour and a half, but they usually let me know and I assume its a big work load. The dermatology department are quite good, they stay on top of appointments, but the wait can be long. I suppose its because they're being thorough with all their patients, so I don't mind.
Kind doctor who explained things well
August 30, 2023
It's good, found it very very easy to get to, I've come from waterfall house. It was really good speaking to the doctors, she was very kind and explained things well. I was referred from the GP and it hasn't taken too long for an appointment to come through.

Waited 4 hours before someone came and spoke to us. Very long wait without any help and support.
Treated son brilliantly
August 7, 2023
Been a few times since he's been born. Pediatrician in A&E went ballistic with the way my son was treated at the Women's Hospital. A&E was amazing, been there twice when my son had sepsis, we were treated brilliantly.

Find it alright, they send letters and call us. My daughter hasn't been for 12 months and used to come every 3 months for an audiology appointment. They department is really good. They explain everything really well.
Thought blood test was an appointment
August 7, 2023
Daughter had blood tests, she's been waiting a long time. They called yesterday to come for bloods at 9:30am. I've been waiting so long, I thought it was an appointment.
Brilliant

Brilliant like always, my daughter is here every couple of weeks and she's usually admitted to PAU. They provide hospital transport. It's really good, the consultant pre books it before appointment and it saves me from driving.
Long waits for blood test

The appointment was at 9:30am for bloods but you get a text message to say where to come to and no letter was sent. They assure you that you'll be seen at the appointment time but you can and take a ticket and wait a long time. I'm still sat here waiting at 10:35am. We did go to A&E and we must have went on a good day as we were only in there 20 minutes before we went to the CDU. The staff are good and informed us about my sons care, and they'd explain things to us throughout his treatment. I did have to push to have blood tests done for him as my son declines but I had to push the staff to taken them for him so they could find out what was wrong with him. They should have been more encouraging.
They talk to me, let me know what's going on

Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad but they do talk to me and let me know about my condition.
Renal clinic doctors are good
August 7, 2023
It's all normal. We've been coming for a long time and come for the renal clinic all the time, the doctors are good and they explain things to us. I get letters sent to me too before my appointment is due.
