Both of my girls have been here and they have been fantastic all of the time. The staff are amazing.
I believe I wasn't being listened to.

I have been coming here since before covid. The hospital as a whole is very good but on a personal note I believe I was not listened to properly on a number of occasions. It was very hard to put my points across through to the consultant.
Started treatment very quickly.

My son was timely referred and the treatment started very quickly for his condition. He is improving thanks to the efforts of his consultant and his team.
Very highly rated.

I rate them very highly because of the great support they have provided. I took my son to A&E and from there he was referred to the consultant and the problem was properly diagnosed.

All the time we are seen on time by the consultant but have to wait for ages to give blood samples.

Apart from the parking everything else is very good. The doctors and nurses are very kind and helpful. They engage with you very well.
Made her comfortable over the last 11 years.

We have been coming here for the last 11 years and our experience has been excellent. My daughter has a rare condition and the support provided in the last 11 years has made things comfortable and manageable for her.
Decided to go private
October 17, 2023
My daughter has severe autism and has been holding in urine for a year which causes her severe pain. We take her sometimes weekly but doctors don't know what is going on with her. It's so horrible to see so now we've decided to go private as they have tried to help but can't find what is wrong with her.
Long waits and no snacks available.

there was a 3.5 hour wait at the Children's A&E. There's no vending machines for the child or parent. More importantly there are no snacks. Juice is supplied but a trolley service would be good even if you had to pay. You don't want to miss being called to go and get food.
Delays in results and care.

I use the hospital for my child who has epilepsy. Its is a new medical condition diagnosed within the last 2 years. They were admitted to A&E then hospital admission for follow up care. I am constantly having to chase results and appointments. MRI results from the May examination were only given back in October. There are delays in care and the care plan. The medical attention received was good.
