The new system is better.

They have changed the system and it's made things better. Quite shocked I got an appointment straight away for today.
Gave me 2 HRT and told to book an appointment

Appointments are very hard to get. Honestly, that's the main issue. I had been prescribed HRT and when I called to get a repeat prescription and picked it up there was only 2 in the pack. So I called them and they said I needed to make an appointment with the doctor to review my medication. There is a lack of communication and I feel like I am chasing them for information. If I had known I would have made an appointment earlier because it is very difficult to get an appointment and then I may have to go without medication.
Not very accommodating

They are not accommodating. I don't get the system. They told me I needed to book online but I told them my son had bad eyes and they said to come in at 10:30am. Normally they say they will call back after 3 hours. I have waited 30 minutes for the appointment.
The system for appointments is good.

Its normally really hard to get appointments but I rang up and then filled in the form at 8:43am and they gave me an appointment for 11:15am. I found that system helpful as normally there are no appointments. When I called they answered really quickly. The receptionists are always polite and medical staff are good too. I try not to use them often, only when I really need to.
The doctors and receptionists are good.

Good. I like the phone call appointments. I prefer then to face to face. They send a link and then they give you an appointment. The staff are good except for the paramedic, we never get treatment from him. I don't want to see him again as we don't get the treatment or the help that we need. We have seen him so many times and he never treated us. The receptionists are very good.

It is becoming difficult here now. The doctor says you need to make an appointment with reception. When you call the reception they have to send an online link and you book your appointment through there. I know that other people have got appointments through reception and that's not fair. If I come into the surgery they will have an appointment available. So why lie, they call later and give you an appointment that is available. If you come in there is hardly anybody there. If they wanted to make time for appointments they could. They don't get information from the hospital. They say they don't have it. I bring my own copy and then they find it. When you have blood tests a pharmacist will call you to discuss the results but they cannot follow up on anything so it's pointless. A doctor should be doing this.

Midwife in the community is not bad. She does her routine checks and that's fine. Working fine for me. They have a new system where you book online but I've not had to do it much. I have done it once and it was fine.
Great staff

It was easier when you could just call up but now they give you a triage link and then you have to wait for them to send you an appointment or call and give you an appointment. I have only used it twice and both times has been quick. Staff and the receptionists and doctors are all great.
Fantastic staff and prioritise children

They send a link to book appointments and you have to go through a long form to get an appointment. You used to just be able to call which worked a lot better. I was able to get the appointment quickly today and they do prioritise my daughter and other children. The staff are fantastic too.
Brilliant paramedic and doctor

Brilliant paramedic. There is a new doctor who is brilliant. There was an issue some time ago that was resolved fairly quickly. My daughter arranges my appointments for me. The reception staff are great too.
