Had to call NHS 111 for daughter a few weeks back.

Phoned and told me to go straight to A&E as I had an insect bite on my eye and it had made my whole face swell up. Acted quickly.
They were very helpful

Had to wait for a call-back. It took a doctor 3 hours to call back and book an appointment with walk-in clinic. They were very helpful.

I had to go to hospital when my GP wouldn't see me. They told me to go straight to the hospital with my symptoms, so I went to A&E.

Called and used them a couple of times. Been a wait to get through, but got through eventually. They tell you what to do and where to go. It's good especially for my problems.

They don't know how to help, they don't have the information. It's a shame because all of the moneys going to the wrong things.

15 to 20 minutes to talk to them. They tell you to go to own GP. It’s very sad.
Was in a queue for a long time

Called them for appendix and was in a queue for a long time, couldn’t get through and ended up going to A&E and daughter had her appendix removed.
No one called back

Called at 2am. They answered and said that someone would call me back for my 3 year old daughter who has a ear infection but no one called back. Luckily my husband who is a pharmacist and can prescribe was able to get the antibiotics she needed the next day. But even after explaining all the symptoms to NHS 111 and that my daughter had a lump on the back of her ear which would cause a serious infection that could lead to sepsis. Had we not know what to look out for she could have got really poorly without us treating her. I was actually really appalled at the service.
