The came quickly for my 8 month old son. Very very quick. Paramedics were very good and did checks. They said they were taking him to hospital. They took us straight there.

They gave me medication for a broken ankle. They came out really quickly and said that I had made a bit of a mess there. They were lovely and having a joke with me. They took me to the QE and took me there really quickly.
The paramedics were brilliant

I called an ambulance for my 5 months old who had stopped breathing. They were good on the phone and kept me calm and they told me to perform CPR talking me through all the steps. More importantly they kept me calm until the paramedics got there. They took less than 10 minutes and they were amazing with her. They ended up transferring her to the hospital for further care and treatment for a respiratory infection that had a bigger effect on her because she was premature.

The ambulance service were brilliant. They said they needed to take me to hospital after a funny turn. One minute I was walking and the next I was on the ground. They suspected it was an issue with my heart and came ever so quickly. They got me to hospital quickly.

Wrong information given
January 2, 2024
They said they wouldn't be able to come for hours but did tell us to go straight to A&E. They however told us to go to the wrong A&E, where the information on the NHS website said the A&E was for over 18's only, even though they have a dedicated A&E for pediatrics.
